DESCRIPTION....Simplicity #2914: This button-up shirt dress pattern dates from around 1938. "A variation of the classic shirtmaker, the soft blouse of this frock is gathered to the deep yoke. The buttoned band in blouse joins with pleat in skirt to form a slenderizing front panel. Style 1 has a low square neckline; the collar, short sleeves and patch pockets are accented by rick rack. Style 2 has a softly rolled collar and long, set-in sleeves."
