S2231 1957 Evening dress in 2 lengths and jacket. Bodice is boned and has optional shoulder straps. Faced bodice and midriff have gathered trim. Skirt is gathered. V. 1 has gathered overskirt and drape (of overskirt fabric) tacked to overskirt and trimmed with flowers. Wide ribbon bow trims back waistline. V. 2 is all of 1 fabric. Contrast jacket, V. 2, has low wide neckline with soft wide collar that ties at center front; short set-in sleeves.
