This is an original pattern.
Hollywood 697; ca. early 1940s; Girls' One-Piece Dress. The skirt is gathered at side-fronts and back where it joins the elongated bodice. Front buttons below the wide lapel collar, and the short sleeves have narrow cuffs. Tied half-belt.
