Details:
This is a reproductions sewing pattern.
This is a reproduction pattern for a late 1930s halter top and beach pajama trousers with a shirred waistband that can be shirred with elastic thread or to a solid waist stay facing. The trousers sit above the natural waistline. The halter top is gathered through a casing to a tie around the neck, and the back ties into place. Made up in cool printed rayon or lightweight cotton this two piece ensemble is a pure delight to beat the heat and still retain your glamour girl allure.
Our sample that is pictured was made up in rayon print with elastic shirring at the waist and a corded neck tie in a vintage size 14.
You are getting a printed copy of a digitally remastered vintage pattern on good quality bond paper with print out instructions. This reproduction is true to the original period pattern lines.
Instructions from the original instruction sheet are included. Note that vintage instructions may be difficult for the modern sewer to comprehend. Intermediate dressmaking knowledge and a muslin mock up of the pattern are suggested, as vintage fit, ease, and construction are different than modern standards.
